Let’s celebrate our heroes

Across Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Halfway and Blantyre, ordinary people are going above and beyond during the coronavirus pandemic. An army of carers, health workers, shop workers, public service providers, local businesses, charities, organisations and volunteers are making sure that vulnerable people aren’t left behind.

By playing their part in the battle against COVID-19, local heroes are making a massive difference to people’s lives. Their response to this emergency should be recognised and remembered.

Nominate someone special

This is your chance to make sure that someone you know who has gone above and beyond during this crisis is recognised.

Rutherglen MSP, Clare Haughey, wants you to let her know about the extraordinary people tackling the pandemic at a local level through their good deeds and charitable efforts.

If you know people who are going that extra mile, make sure their efforts are recognised. Please fill in the form, below, with details of who you’re nominating and why.

Many people do great work without wanting the recognition,  so only those willing to take part will be included.

All entries that are submitted using the form, above, will automatically be sent directly to clare.haughey.msp@parliament.scot. Data will be retained in line with the Privacy Notice. If a valid nomination is received, Clare Haughey MSP or her staff may contact you. Should you have any questions, then please contact clare.haughey.msp@parliament.scot.
