Clare participated in a General Question session (14th December) whereby she called on the Scottish Government to further commit to maintaining the nursing bursary in Scotland - a bursary which was scrapped down south.

I took part in a debate on brain tumour awareness.

On the 7th December, I participated in a ministerial statement on improving Scotland's air quality. I cited the air pollution on Cambuslang Main Street within my contribution. 

Clare participated in a debate raising the awareness of 'Small Business Saturday' - which takes place this year on the 2nd December.

I spoke in a Ministerial Statement on the 28th November regarding Scotland's alcohol and drugs strategies. 

I took part in a debate (21st November) on suicide prevention. Any suicide is a tragedy, and the effect on the person’s loved ones, friends and work colleagues remains long after the person has died. 

On 16th November, I made an application to the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee to establish a CPG.

On Wednesday 15th November, I was given the opportunity to take part in a debate on Personal and Social Education (PSE). My speech highlighted some of the great work of schools in my constituency – like Trinity and Cathkin – whose teaching of PSE is an example to be followed.

I took part in General Questions welcoming the UK Government - who is now following the Scottish Government’s lead - in announcing that a national workforce plan will be developed for NHS England.
