HEALTHY N HAPPY OPEN NEW NUMBER 18 VENUE

Rutherglen MSP Clare Haughey and CamGlen Radio volunteer Scott Laidlaw officially opened Healthy n Happy’s Number 18 venue on Friday 9th November.

The Number 18 venue is Rutherglen’s newest event space and will be a vibrant local community hub. Based in the old Rutherglen East Church, it is located in the heart of the town and provides a well-equipped, multi-functional space which is open to all.

Clare Haughey MSP has described the venue as being ‘a real asset for the people of Rutherglen’ and praised Healthy n Happy by saying they are ‘almost always at the forefront of new and exciting projects locally’.

Commenting, the Rutherglen MSP said:

“I was delighted to officially open the Number 18 venue with CamGlen Radio volunteer, Scott Laidlaw.

“It is a high-quality space, and it will be a real asset for the people of Rutherglen.

“I would like to thank Brendan Rooney and his team at Healthy n Happy who are almost always at the forefront of new and exciting projects locally.”
