Last week, I secured a debate on Eating Disorders Awareness Week. Eating disorders, which include anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorders are serious mental illnesses, therefore help should be sought if you are suffering from one.

School leavers in South Lanarkshire continue to go on to positive destinations after finishing secondary school – with the latest figures showing 95.8% of youngsters going into further or higher education, employment or training three months after leaving school.

On the 28th February, Clare questioned the Scottish Government's Cabinet Secretary for Justice on the funding made available by the government to tackle drug misuse.
100% OF IVF PATIENTS IN LANARKSHIRE SEEN ON TARGET
Last year 100% of IVF patients in Lanarkshire began treatment within 12 months of referral, beating a key Scottish Government target. The news has been welcomed by Rutherglen MSP Clare Haughey who said that patients in Scotland receive “the fairest and most generous access to IVF in the UK”.

Rutherglen MSP and mental health nurse Clare Haughey last week (28th February) led a Scottish Parliament debate marking Eating Disorders Awareness Week. The awareness week, running from 26th February to 4th March, encourages people to ask for help if they notice symptoms of an eating disorder.
