Last week at Parliament, Clare took part in a debate on fair work.
Scotland’s economy remains strong and our labour market is positive – with high employment and low unemployment. However, we know that, for too many, the experience of work is not always positive.
Employment law remains under the control of the Tory Government at Westminster and Labour have continually ignored our calls to give the powers to the Scottish Parliament.
In order to make Scotland a truly fair work nation, employment law must be transferred to Holyrood to further help us create good quality jobs, grow the economy and lift people out of poverty.
